Busan INNOPOLIS, held Innovation Day for Shared Growth with Innovative Companies, Large Enterprises, and SMEs

□ Busan INNOPOLIS (Director Seo Dong-Gyeong, hereinafter “Busan INNOPOLIS”) of the Korea Innovation Foundation announced that it held “BUSAN Pre-Innovation Day” in Busan Eurasia Platform on the 19th to support win-win growth and investment attraction for innovative startups through collaboration between large enterprises and startups.
ㅇ At the event, 21 science and technology-based startups and large corporations interested in collaborating with startups, such as LG Electronics, POSCO Technology Investment, and Lotte Ventures, had a chance to exchange with each other.
□ Each large enterprise introduced collaboration programs and examples of collaboration with affiliates in various fields, such as industry linkage, market development, investment, and joint research.

ㅇ Practical advice was also shared, such as “Things to consider before starting collaboration,” so that participating innovative startups can seek suitable opportunities for collaboration with large enterprises.
□ In addition, ten pre-selected companies, including ▴GenLife (bacteriophage sensor device) and ▴Drone Station (SH Robotics), introduced their products and services for actual investment linkage and got one-on-one consulting opportunities to review investments and receive feedback on growth strategies
□ Even after the event, Busan INNOPOLIS will continue to prepare open innovation and industry-academia-research networks that listens to the opinions of participating companies and investors, discovers excellent companies, and coexists with large, small and medium-sized startups.
