□ Overview of Education Project
◦ Project name: The 19th Korean Style Science Park Training
◦ Purpose: Contribute to development of science of developing countries through creation of Korean style science park and transferring the operating knowhow.
◦ Project Period : From ‘18.6.18(Mon) ~ 6.29(Fri)
◦ Participants: 21 persons from 17 countries (Working level staffs of Science Parks and public officials of related government agencies of Developing Countries )
◦ Recruiting method: Recommendation of foreign missions in Korea and Korean embassy and individual applications, etc.
◦ Training place : INNOPOLIS Foundation and Daeduk INNOPOLIS (Yuseong-GU, Daejeon)
□ Major Activities
◦ Lecture Overview: Conducts theoretical and practical training related to Science Park, Academy, Industry & Research Innovation Systems.
◦ Theoretical lectures, practical education and site visit.
- (Theoretical Lecture) Creation and development policy of Science Park, Support for operation of Science Park and innovation activity, development experience of Daeduck INNOPOLIS, Relation between Economic Development Policy of Korea and development of science and technology of Korea.
- (Practical Education) Mentoring for master plan design and operating idea of science park
- (Site Visit) Visit to government invest research institutes in Daeduk INNOPOLIS, start-up incubation centers and innovative agencies of Science Park such as Science & Technology Specialized University.
◦ Others : Experience of Korean Culture and Korean Language Class, etc.
