INNOPOLIS foundation, Korea"s science and technology park (K-STP) education was held successfully

□ INNOPOLIS foundation (The chief director Cha Dong Kim ) notified that they are holding 『 15th K-STP, Science & Technology Park education』from 2 to 13 for government officials in science technology town of developing countries on 2th (Monday). ㅇ For this education, total 106 people in 34 countries of Botswana, Zambia, el salvador with 8 of new applying countries was applying so it was most competitive as 5:1 ratio since 2008.
ㅇ In the 15th education, after selective evaluation, 20 people in 18 countries were selected and they are going to learn science technology policy, INNOPOLIS Deadeok development and operational knowhow, the technology strategy of network based, and etc.
ㅇ Also, By visiting Creative economic innovation center, Electronic and Telecommunications Research Institute(ETRI), Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER), and other important institutions, the opportunity to survey Korean creative economic field in the present progressive and share the experiences will be given as well.
□ The participants was benchmarking INNOPOLIS Daedeok which prepared the ground for economic growth with science technology through STP and expecting building and running science towns in their own countries.
ㅇ Luis Maldaner, the representative of Technosinos, said " Through STP education, representative example of success in Asia, By learning and benchmarking the knowhow about Korean style government science town which is a development model, most favored by developing countries, I am planning to apply them to operate important government science town in Brazil."
ㅇ Cha Dong Kim, the chief of director in INNOPOLIS foundation said " I hope that through education of INNOPOLIS Daedeok model introduction, developing countries can achieve development of science town with science technology and economic growth and I expect future benefits through this." |
