□ INNOPOLIS Foundation (President, Kim, Cha Dong) progresses "14th K-STP (Korean Type Science & Technology Park) Model training program from 1st day to 12th day by targeting relevant government personnel of science & technology park in the developing nations.
ㅇ In this training program, 20 representatives from 17 nations including UAE, Bulgaria, Jamaica are participating and they will learn Korean science technology policy, creation, operation knowhow of INNOPOLIS Daedeok, technology commercialization strategy based on industry-academy-research institute network in INNOPOLIS. ㅇ In addition, by visiting major institutions such as Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, ETRI, KIER, they will look around vivid site situation of Korean type creative economy ecosystem that is currently under progress and have an opportunity of gaining experience as well.
□ Through this training program, participants expect that benchmarking INNOPOLIS Daedeok in Korea that provided a foundation of brilliant economic growth by science & technology would be greatly helpful in constructing and operating their science park. ㅇ Elisa Panayotova, Director of Sophia science park of Bulgaria commented that "On the occasion of inaugurating Sophia science park that is the first science park in Bulgaria, our team were motivated to directly participate in training program in order to learn operation know-how of K-STP", ㅇ President, Kim of INNOPOLIS Foundation, said that " It is hoped that training program of INNOPOLIS Daedeok would contribute to development of science & technology and economic growth of developing nations and through this opportunity, linked performance including activation of technology, business exchange among STP is expected". □ INNOPOLIS Foundation awarded STP consulting contract for 3 nations including Ecuador in 2012 by utilizing network of 253 trainees that are policy-makers of 60 nations and supported overseas entry of INNOPOLIS enterprises from 2013. |
