□ The Korea Innovation Foundation (hereinafter ‘Foundation’) held the ‘2022 Korea Innovation Foundation’s Digital Sports Day’ from July 6th to August 1st on its metaverse platform.
○ The digital sports day event consisted of 5 mini-games, such as cart racing, maze finding, and room escape quiz covering various age groups, and received a great response.
○ About 40 teams took part in the game by organizing a team of 4 with voluntary applications. In particular, the last final match and award ceremony was broadcast live on the Foundation's YouTube channel, making precious memories for executives and staff members who did not participate in the game.
○ In particular, this event is of great significance in that it revitalized organizational culture in an era when offline communication became difficult and provided an opportunity for all employees to become familiar with the Foundation's metaverse platform.
□ Kang Byung-Sam, President of the Foundation, urged, “I am delighted to be able to communicate and harmonize company-wide through this event, even after social distancing has been lifted. In the future, the Foundation will take the lead in utilizing new digital technologies in various ways, such as the Metaverse.”
